ERIC BROOKS plays Thomas Mott Osborne in this one-man play. He is familiar to APT’s audience most recently as R.D.C. Carter in Precious Nonsense in the summer of 2017. This was a role he originated in the world premiere of Precious Nonsense at Ithaca’s Kitchen Theatre Company. Also at the Kitchen, he has starred in: Peter and the Starcatcher, Heroes, The Price, Talley’s Folly, The Unexpected Man, Iron, Between East and West, The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek, Six Apparitions of Lenin Appear on the Piano. Regional credits include A View From the Bridge, The Iceman Cometh (Repertory Theatre of St. Louis), Comedy of Errors, Guys and Dolls, She Loves Me (Meadow Brook Theatre, Detroit), South Pacific (St. Louis Muny). Among his New York appearances: Henry V and Richard II for the 11th Hour Company, King John at the Ensemble Studio Theatre, Her First Roman with the York Theatre, and Naked Will at Performance Space 122. He also spent several years as Dr. Louis Darnell on the long-running soap opera, Guiding Light.
